Material examined. Russia: Moscow Region, Tabolovo env., 55.908N 36.068E, edge of mixed forest, on flowers of Succisa pratensis , 10.VIII.2018, 1 ♀ ( A. Prokhorov) GoogleMaps .

Distribution.? Belarus ( Borodin & Borodina, 2014), European Russia, Siberia, Far East ( Kamchatka, Sakhalin, Kunashir, Khabarovsk and Amur Regions, Primorye); Mongolia (Violovitsh, 1983; Peck, 1988; Mutin & Barkalov, 1999; Speight, 2017), Japan ( Stackelberg, 1958 b). First record from Moscow Region.

Most likely, S. maxima expands its range in Eastern Europe, although this species remains here a rare and certainly needs protection.
