Agnesiella ( D.) digita View in CoL sp. nov.
( Figs 7–9 View FIGURES 1–12 , 44–45 View FIGURES 37–65 , 72–78 View FIGURES 72–78 )
Diagnosis. Length of male 3.4 mm ( Fig. 7 View FIGURES 1–12 ). Body yellowish; pronotum with five black patches, three on anterolateral margin, two on posterolateral margin, mesonotum anterolateral triangles dark ( Figs 7, 9 View FIGURES 1–12 ). Forewing yellowish, clavus and middle area with somewhat irregular brownish patches ( Figs 7 View FIGURES 1–12 , 44 View FIGURES 37–65 ).
Ventral appendage of pygofer straight, extended to anal tube ( Fig. 72 View FIGURES 72–78 ). Paramere with subapical row of microsetae, subapical tooth small ( Fig. 74 View FIGURES 72–78 ). Aedeagus preatrium weak, base of shaft with slight convexity on dorsal margin ( Fig. 77 View FIGURES 72–78 ), side of ventral lamella slightly expanded ( Fig. 78 View FIGURES 72–78 ); ventral process branched, upper branch curved and much shorter than lower branch ( Figs 77, 78 View FIGURES 72–78 ).
Type material. Holotype, ♂, Xishan Mountain, Kunming city, Yunnan Province, 14 Oct. 2010, coll. Mao-fa Yang. Paratypes, 1♂, same data as the holotype ; 1♂, Wenshan country, Yunnan Province, 23 Nov. 2016, light trap, coll. Yalin Yao.
Etymology. The species name refers to the digitiform (finger-like), ventral appendage of the pygofer.
Remarks. This species closely resembles Agnesiella ( D.) farida Dworakowska, 1994 and Agnesiella ( D.) alni Sharma & Malhotra, 1981, but differs in having the ventral pygofer appendage curved dorsad and ventral lamella of the aedeagus without a flange. Also, there are just five black patches on the pronotum, fewer than in A. ( D.) alni but the appendage of the pygofer is longer.
