Procorticacarus longipalpis Cook, 1986
Material examined. New South Wales. 0/2/0, Merritts Creek , Kosciuszko NP, 36°27.512 S 148°17.512 E, 1942 m asl, 8-ii-2024 GoogleMaps
Remarks. The juvenile females from Merritts Creek are ventrally 481–488 long and 409–412 long. It is therefore much smaller than the specimens of Cook (1986). Morphology of examined female, however, agrees well with Cook’s description.
Distribution. Tasmania, New South Wales and Victoria.
