Material examined: Holotype ♀, INDIA, Karnataka, Madikeri , 08.xi.2012, David, K.J. ( NIM).
Diagnosis: It is similar to A. striata , A. sachini and A. parastriata in the presence of a prominent black spot on the postpronotal lobe, the scutellum predominantly black with a narrow basal yellow band, and wing with a continuous costal band, and further resembles A. sachini in having the subapical and posterior apical bands separated from the costal band, but it can be differentiated by the shorter oviscape ( 0.85 mm long) and connected subapical and posterior apical wing bands.
Comments: This species was described and illustrated by David et al. (2014) based on a female specimen from Madikeri, Karnataka.
