Acroceratitis tenmalaica Hancock & Drew, 1999: 659 View in CoL .
Material examined: 1♀ INDIA, Tamil Nadu, Valparai , no date, Yeshwanth, H.M. ( UASB) .
Diagnosis. It is similar to A. parastriata and A. breviscapa in having a continuous costal band and its general colour pattern, but can be differentiated by dark fuscous discal band, fulvous postpronotal lobe and dark fuscous femora. Oviscape ( 1.70 mm long), flattened dorsoventrally, 15−20 elongate spicules on distal end of long eversible membrane ( 2.70 mm) ( Fig. 27f View FIGURES 26−28 ), 2 tightly coiled black club-shaped spermathecae ( Fig. 28f View FIGURES 26−28 ), aculeus tip ( 2.52 mm long) with broadly pointed apex and four pairs of preapical setae ( Fig. 26f View FIGURES 26−28 ).
Comments: This species was originally described and illustrated except for postabdominal structures by Hancock & Drew (1999).
