Distribution. NE Vietnam: Tuyen Quang province (Na Hang NP) ( Fig. 21 View FIGURE 21 ).
Remarks
Of twenty Vietnamese Streblocera species revised, there are two species belonging to subgenus Asiastreblocera , Eutanycerus : 13, Streblocera : four, and Villocera : one; the subgenus Cosmophoridia Hedqvist has not yet been recorded in Vietnam. Four species, Streblocera (Eutanycerus) okadai Watanabe , Streblocera (E.) opima Chou, 1990 , S. (E.) thay i Belokobylskij, and S. (E.) pila Belokobylskij were based on the literature because their type specimens were unavailable, and the remainder were based on examination of type specimens available in the Braconidae collection at IEBR (Ha Noi, Vietnam). There is little variation observed among Vietnamese Streblocera species including the two newly recorded Streblocera species, viz. S. (Eutanycerus) cornis Chen & van Achterberg and S. (Villocera) villosa Papp. Comparison of Streblocera species from Vietnam show that members of the subgenus Eutanycerus species can mainly be distinguished from each other by the following characters: ratio of scapus length and its maximum width, shape and form of scapus (with or without pointed horn subbasally), ventral serrations of first-fifth/seventh flagellomeres (or baso-ventral tubercles of first-fifth/seventh flagellomeres); and the subgenus Streblocera species can mainly be separated by shape and form of the first flagellomere, e.g. first flagellomere curved in S. (S.) duplicata , S. (S.) huuiena and S. (S.) necurvata ; and first flagellomere straight in S. (S.) setosa ; occipital carina complete or interrupted medio-dorsally, sensillae density of two first flagellomeres ventrally [ S. (S.) setosa ], ratio of vein 1-R1 of fore wing and length of pterostigma are comparative characters between some species, e.g. relatively short in S. (S.) huuliena . Apart from morphological characters used in the key to separate the four subgenera, two members of Asiastreblocera and Villocera have a propodeum which is highly convex medially in lateral aspect but this character is not found in any Vietnamese species of subgenera Eutanycerus and Streblocera , so this character seems to be one of the characters for distinguishing between Streblocera subgenera.
