Cataglyphis adenensis var. bugnioni SANTSCHI, 1929 ( BOLTON 1995: 134) is an unavailable name, because the term "var." is an infrasubspecific entity in SANTSCHI (1929: p. 25 (V. Liste des espèces, races, et varietés), p. 40 ( Cataglyphis albicans st. livida var. arenaria or C. albicans st. livida ambigua nov.var. ")). The status of Cataglyphis adenensis var. bugnioni View in CoL should be checked, because Cataglyphis adenensis View in CoL is not listed in FISHER & BOLTON (2016: 239).
