Two specimens of N. nanciae from high elevation forest in the north-eastern DRC have been barcoded. One of these, a male in the ABRI collection, is selected as the holotype and is shown in Fig. 12 View Figure 12 along with a female paratype and specimens of Neptis jamesi .
