Diagnosis. Rostral tubercles similar to those of Cnemidophyllum s. str. and Peucestophyllum ( Figs 107, 111 View Figs 106–117 ); pronotum with high dorsolateral keels and with obliquely truncated (or even slightly concave) but long ventral edge of each lateral lobe ( Fig. 113 View Figs 106–117 ); middle and hind tibiae distinctly widened in proximal halves ( Fig. 103 View Figs 83–105 ); male abdominal apex with 3–4 small posterior processes or lobules on last tergite ( Figs 135, 137 View Figs 126–144 ) (female unknown).
Composition (in original binomens). Peucestoides stridulans Hebard, 1927 (described from Colombia; distributed from French Guiana to possibly Peru); Cnemidophyllum (Peucestoides) bituberculatum sp. nov.
