Based on Article 75 and in accordance with the conditions expressed in Article 75.3 of the International Code of Zoological Nomenclature ( ICZN, 2025) we designate a neotype specimen for A. jaciara View in CoL .

Material examined. Neotype ♂. BR. MT. Jaciara, Córrego Tenente Amaral , -15.97704, -55.00953, 18.xi.2013, lençol, Deprá & Floriano, MZUSP. GoogleMaps

Remarks. The neotype is deposited in MZUSP, where the holotypes of most Brazilian stoneflies are deposited. Additionally, we provide high-definition photographs of the neotype ( Figure 1 View FIGURE 1 ), taken using Leica cameras (DFC450 and MC170 HD) mounted on a Leica M205 A stereomicroscope, reducing possible errors in the interpretation of the original description drawings ( Bispo et al. 2005) and further facilitating species identification.
