Aedeagus with developed dorsoatrium; aedeagal shaft slim and strongly recurved in lateral view with two pairs of slim apical appendages; dorsal appendages not branched, arched towards outside and pegged by branches of ventral appendages in dorsal view; ventral appendages sinuated with a short protrusion at basal 1/3 and one branch in middle length ( Figs 36–38 View FIGURES 26–38 ).
Specimens examined. Holotype: ♂, China, Yunnan Prov., Sanchahe , 7 June 1991, coll. Rungang Tian . Paratypes: 2 ♂, same data as holotype ; 1 ♂, China, Yunnan Prov., Mengyang, 7 June 1991, coll. Guangchun Liu and Wanzhi Cai ; 1 ♂, China, Yunnan Prov., Yaoqu, 7 June 2009, coll. Wei Cui.
Measurement. Length of male 3.62–3.76 mm (including wing).
Etymology. The specific epithet is derived from the Latin word “ dissimilis ”, referring to ventral appendages of aedeagal shaft different from other species in E. ( S.) robusta group.
Remarks. This new species most resembles E. ( S.) rona in male genitalia, but differs in having the ventral appendages of the aedeagal shaft with a shorter branch at midlength and a small protrusion at basal 1/3 ( Fig. 38 View FIGURES 26–38 ).
