Body creamy. Face sordid white ( Fig. 55 View FIGURES 52–64 ). Crown with two orange patches posteriorly. Pronotum with broad yellowish pale fascia posteriorly and two ochre patches anteriorly; basal triangles ochre; scutellum with two small dark brownish patches laterally and two blackish marks on sides of scutellum ( Figs 52, 54 View FIGURES 52–64 ). Forewing pale white with brownish patches on basal part of corium and clavus, extending to brochosome area; clavus with a yellow round patch centrally, two blackish patches on both ends of central round patch and one brown spot distally; one brownish oval patch on corium near apical 1/2 of claval furrow; brochosome area with a big brownish patch on costal margin and one oblique ochre strip along distal margin, same patch on ScP+RA; RP with a brown spot on apical 1/2; lateral margin of 4th apical cell and its adjoining partial region covered with irregular brownish patches ( Figs 52, 53 View FIGURES 52–64 ).
Male genitalia: Upper lobe of pygofer side strongly pigmented and serrated distally ( Figs 56, 57 View FIGURES 52–64 ). Subgenital plate with one long macroseta near basal 2/5, row of long macrosetae from near apical 1/3 to subapex; three short microsetae near subapex; several short microsetae near apical 1/3 and one rigid microseta on apex ( Figs 58, 59 View FIGURES 52–64 ). Connective with central ridge long and lateral arms weakly divergent ( Fig. 60 View FIGURES 52–64 ). Paramere slender with several small sharp tubercles and 2 microsetae on caudal part ( Fig. 61 View FIGURES 52–64 ). Aedeagal shaft slightly arched in lateral view with two pairs of unbranched and equal wide apical appendages; dorsal appendages below and shorter than ventral ones with semi-lunar depression on apical 1/3; both of them intersected basally in dorsal view ( Figs 62–64 View FIGURES 52–64 ).
Specimens examined. Holotype: ♂, China, Yunnan Prov., Sanchahe , 7 June 1991, coll. Rungang Tian . Paratypes: 13 ♂, same data as holotype ; 1 ♂, China, Yunnan Prov., Mengyang, 7 June 1991, coll. Guangchun Liu and Wanzhi Cai.
Measurement. Length of male 3.27–3.62 mm (including wing).
Etymology. The specific epithet is derived from the Latin word “ fumosa ” referring to infumated patches on forewing.
Remarks. This new species most resembles E. ( S.) krispinilla in male genitalia, but differs by the aedeagal shaft with dorsal appendages longer than ventral appendages ( Figs 62–64 View FIGURES 52–64 ).
