Poeciloptilia rudectella: Herrich-Schäffer (1855: 302, 311).
Subgenus: Aphelosetia ; bedellella species group.
Distribution: Palearctic. Austria, Czech Republic, France, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Italy, Kyrgyzstan, Russia (S. Ural, Siberia, Tuva), Slovakia, Switzerland, Ukraine.
Larval host plant(s): Phleum phleoides (L.) Karsten ( Poaceae ) ( Hoffmann 1893).
