Subgenus: Elachista View in CoL ; tetragonella View in CoL species group.
Distribution: Palearctic. Germany, Italy, Netherlands, Poland, Japan.
Larval host plant(s): Carex digitata L., C. ericetorum Pollich , C. humilis Leysser , C. oahuensis C.A. Mey ( Cyperaceae ) ( Parenti 1983, Parenti & Varalda 1994, Sugisima (2005c).
