Distribution. Colombia, Venezuela, Guyana, Surinam, French Guiana, Brazil ( Roraima, Amapá, Amazonas, Pará, Maranhão, Ceará, Piauí, Tocantins, Acre, Pernambuco, Mato Grosso, Rondônia, Bahia, Goiás, Espírito Santo, Paraná), Ecuador, Bolivia and Argentina.

Remarks. The species was previously recorded in Tocantins state by Boldrini & Krolow (2017). It was originally described from French Guiana and Surinam and is widely distributed in the north and northeast of Brazil reaching the state of Paraná ( Nascimento et al. 2017; Faria & Salles 2019). It was found in two sites in areas with Cerrado influence.
