Material examined. SAUDI ARABIA: 1♂, 1♀, Asir, Abha, Hay Al-Menhel , 24.vii.2013, Malaise trap, H.A. Dawah ( NMWC; ENRC); 1♂, 1♀, same data but 12.v.–3.vi.2015 ( NMWC; ENRC).
Distribution. First record from Saudi Arabia. This species was described from Germany and was further recorded from the Palaearctic Region: China, France, Hungary, Israel, Lithuania, Poland, Spain and Europe ( Papp 1984a; Černý 2009).
Host remarks. This species is monophagous on Asparagus L. ( Asparagaceae ) and is not considered to be a significant pest.
