Material. Syntype, genus not determined, label handwritten by Motschulsky: “ Delopleurus fuscus Motsch., Mozambic ” ( Kazantsev & Nikitsky 2008).
Only the hind leg was preserved ( Kazantsev & Nikitsky 2008). According to Motschulsky's instructions (1854d), other syntypes can be found in the Berlin Museum ( Kazantsev & Nikitsky 2008).
