Type data: The species was described based on a single female from Buglan Geçidi between Muş and Bingöl provinces: “Turchia-Muş; Buglan Geç., 1600 m, 21–26.06.02 ( L. Saltini leg.)”. The holotype is preserved in coll. of the Late Mr F. Talamelli ( San Giovanni in Marignano , Italy) .

Volkovitsh), 1♂ ( ZIN) ; Muş Prov., 3.4 km SE of Varto , 39°07'51.8" N, 41°27'46.1", 1470 m, 14.06.2006 ( L. Gültekin), 3♂, 2♀ ( ABBM, ZIN) ; Hınıs , 2.VII.1997 ( E. Kılıç), 1♂ ( ABBM) ; ibid., 1.VIII.1997 ( Ö. Demir), 2♂, 1♀ ( ABBM) .
Description. Male. Body length 7.0– 8.3 mm, width 2.6–2.8 mm. The body vestiture is golden-green in color, occasionally beige colored. The 3 rd –7 th funicular segments usually elongate, about 1.33 times as long as wide. Pronotum subtrapezoidal, widest at base. Scales rounded and recumbent, barely convex. Setae short, subrecumbent, approximately 2.5–3 times as long as a scale, forming 2–3 confused rows on an interstria. Inner face of apical part of middle and hind tibiae covered with long silky hairs. Base of lamella of aedeagus laterally with distinct angular tubercles, covered with short and thickened anteapical setae.
Female. Body length 6.6–7.7 mm, width 2.8–3.1 mm.
Comparative diagnosis: This species is similar in habitus to E. dohrni and E. persicus , from which differs in the subtrapezoidal shape of pronotum, slightly convex scales of the body integument, short subrecumbent setae, and inner face of middle tibiae in apical part with long hairs.
Distribution: This is an endemic Turkish species, known from neighboring territories of Erzurum, Muş and Bingöl provinces.
