Anisopodidae View in CoL is a small family with ten species known from the West Palaearctic ( de Jong, 2013); two of these were known from the Transcaucasia: Sylvicola cinctus (Fabricius, 1787) View in CoL was recorded in the Transcaucasia by Krivosheina & Menzel (1998), and S. cinctus View in CoL and S. stackelbergi Krivosheina et Menzel, 1998 View in CoL were recorded in Armenia by Oboňa et al. (2017a).
