Type locality: Panama Province, Paraíso ( Brennan and Yunker 1966). Type host: Dasypus novemcinctus L., 1758 ( Cingulata : Dasypodidae ). Type depository: USNM ( holotype and paratypes), FMNH ( paratypes) and NHMUK ( paratypes). Panama records. Only known from the type series.
