Type locality: Panama, Coclé Province, Penonomé ( Brennan and Yunker 1966). Type host: Pteronotus personatus (= Pteronotus psilotis ) (Wagner, 1843) ( Chiroptera : Mormoopidae ). Type depository: USNM ( holotype and paratypes), FMNH ( paratypes) and NHMUK ( paratypes). Panama records. Only known from the type series.
