Remarks. The new material examined from Maliau Basin and Mount Trus Madi has tegmen morphology nearly identical to that illustrated by Tan et al. (2020) and Gorochov (2021), in terms of the shape and size of the mirror and the stridulatory file (including number of teeth of approximate 85 teeth and the size of teeth dramatically reduced at basal end).

Type locality. EAST MALAYSIA: Sabah: Sandakan, Kabili-Sepilok Forest Reserve .

Distribution. This species is known only from Sabah: Kabili-Sepilok Forest Reserve (Sandakan), Tawau Hills National Park, Maliau Basin [new locality record], Mount Trus Madi [new locality record].
