Remarks. Leptostylus decipiens was described from Nicaragua. Currently, it is known from Nicaragua, Costa Rica, and Panama ( Monné 2024b; Tavakilian & Chevillotte 2025). The new country record is the first record of this species from South America.

Material examined. ECUADOR ( new country record), Loja: vicinity of Macará , 700 m, at UV light, 1 female, 20–24 Feb 2024, J. Vlasak leg. ( JVCO) .
