Paraplotina flavomaculata Miyatake, 1969: 209 .– Poorani 2002: 360.
It was described from a single female specimen collected from “Madras” and the holotype deposited in the collections of the California Academy of Sciences ( CAS) is illustrated here ( Fig. 12a, b View FIGURE 12 ) (Image courtesy: Christopher Grinter, CAS). It has a unique elytral pattern that is not likely to be confused with any other Indian Plotinini View in CoL . See Miyatake (1969) for detailed description and illustrations of the female .
Distribution. India: South India (“Madras”).
