Type locality: Kathmandu, Godavari.
Material examined. India: 3♂, Sikkim, Dzongu , 28.iv.2014, Rahul Ranjan leg. ( NZCZSI) .
Diagnosis. Wingspan 20 mm, forewing length 10 mm. Caissa medialis is unique due to its male genitalia with the saccular process triangular, and directed dorsally.
Distribution. Nepal ( Yoshimoto 1994), India ( Sikkim) (present study).
Remarks. Caissa medialis is reported for the first time from India.
