PeLtIS pIppINgSkOeLDI Mannerheim, 1852, New State Record
Barron (1996) recorded the distribution of this species as “West of the Great Plains, British Columbia south to California, Arizona, and New Mexico ” and apparently was unaware of a Lake County, Montana record ( Russell 1968). All Montana records are from west of the Continental Divide. Of the 31 specimens, only two were collected by Lindgren funnels with the other specimens apparently hand-collected .
County Records ( Fig. 2J View Fig ): Flathead (15), Lake (Russell 1968), Lincoln (7), Ravalli (5), Sanders (4).
