Distribution: North and east India and some parts of Himalaya and Northeast region of India, South and Southeast Asia (Ramakrishna and Dey, 2007; Tripathy et al., 2020).

Note: Along with dead shells, a few specimen was collected from the upstream of the falls, observed attached to the rocky substrate.
