Distribution: South and Southeast Asia, Africa ( Sajan et al., 2018).

Note: The dead shells were observed on the forest floor nearer to the Gundichaghagi waterfall. L. fulica has been categorised in the list of 100 worst invasive alien species of the world ( Lowe et al., 2000) and it has been considered a serious pest for agriculture, and forestry and hamper the livelihood of the region ( Sajan et al., 2018).
