Type locality and data. “ Montevideo, Uruguay ” (T, ♀, USNM) .
Material examined. Metropolitana: 1♀, Quilicura, 30.XII.1954, Leg. L. Peña ( CNC); (sex undeterminated) Tobalaba, II.1955, Leg. L. Peña ( CNC).

World distribution. Argentina, Uruguay and Chile.
Chilean distribution. Only recorded from Metropolitan region ( Fig. 10 View FIGURES 10 ).
Altitudinal range. This species has mainly been recorded in Mediterranean valleys ( 485– 567 m.a.s.l.).
Biology and notes. All basic aspects of its biology and ecology remain unknown in Chile.
Conservation status. DD; AOO = 4 km 2 and two localities (or subpopulations).
