Remarks: The collection of CEIOC contains males and a female from the same locality, which has proven O. pleuracantha Redtenbacher, 1908 to be the opposite sex of Bacteria culmus Bates, 1865 ( syn. n.). Examination of the holotype of Bostra arcuata and comparison with the types of O. pleuracantha have shown this to be a halfgrown ♀ nymph of the same species and even from the same locality, hence is also a junior synonym of culmus Bates ( syn. n.). The previously unknown eggs are described below.
