[N], 117.40ő [E], J.L.Kapperich, 24.3.1938 (Fukien) [violet label] / Scathopaha stercoraria [det.?] / Scathophaga stercoraria (Lin.,1758) , ♀, det. F. Šifner 2009’ ( CNC). JAPAN: KYUSHU: ♀, ‘Kyushu, Wakasungiyaman Susaguri Fukuoka 1962 iv., T. Saigusa / Scathophaga stercoraria [det.?] / Scathophaga stercoraria (Lin.,1758) , ♀, det. F. Šifner 2009’ ( CNC).

Distribution. Palaearctic, Nearctic ( ŠIFNER 2008a), and Oriental Region: India ( Himachal Pradesh, Kashmir, Sikkim, Uttar Pradesh) ( VOCKEROTH 1977). Previous records from the Afrotropical Region belong to the revalidated S. soror (Wiedemann, 1818) ( OZEROV 2009c, BERNASCONI et al. 2010)
