Craspedochiton sp. Dell’Angelo, Sosso & Tavano, 2021
Fig. 154T View FIGURE 154
Craspedochiton sp. Dell’Angelo, Sosso & Tavano 2021b, p. 430, figs 174–181. Remarks. Four tail valves from the lower Pliocene of Borzoli ( Italy), different from Craspedochiton altavillensis ( Fig. 154T View FIGURE 154 ). The valves are more robust, the articulamentum is massive with a lower number of teeth, the lateral profile shows the teeth almost folded towards the inside of the valve. The available tail valves are poorly preserved and eroded, which hampers their accurate identification.
