Remarks. Dell’Angelo et al. (2016) tentatively attributed to Lepidochitona monterosatoi Kaas & Van Belle, 1981 two incomplete valves, one head ( Fig. 154N View FIGURE 154 ) and one intermediate, collected from the Middle Miocene (Serravallian) of Monchio di Sarzano Casina (Italy) .
