Remarks. Two poorly preserved valves (1 intermediate and 1 tail) from the upper Oligocene (Chattian) of Abesse (Saint-Paul-les-Dax, France) ( Fig. 154L–M View FIGURE 154 ), were tentatively attributed to Rhyssoplax corallina ( Risso, 1826) by Dell’Angelo et al. (2018a); its geological antiquity makes the assignment to the extant species rather unlikely, and we prefer, therefore, to place this Oligocene material in open nomenclature.
