Remarks. Two valves ( Fig. 154E–F View FIGURE 154 ), a head from the lower Miocene of Rocco di Passerano ( Italy) and a tail from the Miocene (Tortonian of Borelli ( Italy) have been tentatively attributed to Leptochiton salicensis Dell’Angelo & Bonfitto, 2005 by Dell’Angelo et al. (2015). The head valve from Rocco di Passerano is broken and poorly preserved; the tail valve from Borelli differs from this species by the mucro located in a more anterior position, and the more concave postmucronal slope.
