Remarks. A unique tail valve ( Fig. 154D View FIGURE 154 ), from the lower Miocene of Gamachot ( France) has been tentatively attributed to Leptochiton josei Dell’Angelo, Sosso, Prudenza & Bonfitto, 2013 by Dell’Angelo et al. (2018a), from which it differs by the greater elevation, the mucro located in a more anterior position, and the almost straight postmucronal slope.
