Material. [ Japan] Kagoshima Pref.: Amami City, Naze, Chuo-rindo , 250–300 m alt., 28.2022°N 129.2629°E, 1 ♀ 14. VII. 2014, S. Shimizu leg. GoogleMaps ( Kanagawa).

Description. Female. Body length 7.5 mm.

Head. Flagellum with 28 flagellomeres, stout and almost filiform; 1 st flagellomere 1.2–1.3× as long as wide, 3 rd flagellomere square, widest flagellomeres 1.5× as wide as long. Temple slightly and roundly narrowed behind eye. OED 0.9× ocellar diameter. Frons and face densely punctate, shining. Clypeus with sparse punctures in apical half. MI 0.6. Genal carina slightly sinusoid and reaching hypostomal carina close to mandibular base.

Mesosoma . Scutellum slightly elevated, longer than wide, with sparse punctures and lateral carina in basal 0.3. Area superomedia heart-shaped, about as long as wide, costula reaching its middle. Hind coxa densely punctate, without scopa. Hind femur densely punctate, 3.0× as long as wide. External surface of hind tibia without denticular spines.

Metasoma. Postpetiole without latero-median carina, sparsely punctate medially, densely punctate laterally. Gastrocoelus obsolete. Thyridium small, close to frontal margin of 2 nd tergite, transverse, 0.3×as wide as interval between thyridia.

Color . Black. Flagellomeres 5–13 ivory dorsally. Palps and spot of frontal orbit opposite to lateral ocellus ivory. 1 st to 3 rd tergites red, petiole infuscate basally. Following tergites black, 6 th and 7 th tergites ivory dorsally. Coxae and trochanters black, hind trochantellus red; legs otherwise red; hind femur and hind tibia narrowly infuscate apically; all tarsi blackish. Wings slightly infuscate; pterostigma brown.

Distribution. Japan (Amamioshima Isl.).
