Material. [ Japan] Kagoshima Pref.: Yakushima Isl. , Collision trap ( AC2 ), 150 m alt., 1 ♀ 26–29. VII. 2007 , T. Yamauchi et al. leg .; Okinawa Pref.: Okinawajima Isl. , Nago City, Genka, 1 ♀ 25. VI. 2013, S. Yoshizawa leg. ( Kanagawa).

Description. Female. Body length 9.2–12.3 mm. Flagellum with 35–36 flagellomeres, slightly lanceolate; 1 st flagellomere 2.0–2.1× as long as wide, 9 th flagellomere square, widest flagellomeres 1.6× as wide as long. OED 0.9–1.1× ocellar diameter. MI 0.6. Hind femur 3.8–4.0× as long as wide. Prescutellar ridge and scutellum mainly or laterally ivory. Structure and coloration otherwise as described by Heinrich (1967: 2–4).

Distribution. Japan (Yakushima Isl., Amamioshima Isl. and Okinawajima Isl.). Widespread in the Oriental region. New record for Yakushima Island.
