Description: Female. Body length 6.5–7.5 mm.
Head. Flagellum with 26–27 flagellomeres, filiform; 1 st flagellomere 1.1–1.3× as long as wide, 3 rd or 4 th flagellomeres square, widest flagellomeres 1.3–1.4× as wide as long. Temple rather short, moderately and roundly narrowed behind eye. OED 1.0–1.1× and OOD 1.5× ocellar diameter. Temple and dorsal frons with dense punctures, shining, ventral frons smooth. Face with rather dense punctures, shining. Clypeus with sparse punctures and preapical row of small punctures; apical margin slightly rounded. Mandible with two teeth, ventral tooth smaller than dorsal tooth, not bent inwards. MI 0.6. Gena sparsely punctate. Genal carina reaching hypostomal carina close to mandibular base, hypostomal carina slightly elevated.
Mesosoma . Side of pronotum with dense punctures dorsally, rugose-punctate ventrally. Notaulus impressed at frontal 0.2 of mesoscutum. Mesoscutum with dense coarse punctures, shining. Mesopleuron and metapleuron densely punctate, shining. Epicnemial carina low and not bent forward ventrally, reaching frontal margin of mesopleuron dorsally. Sternaulus impressed in frontal 0.4 of mesopleuron. Juxtacoxal carina present. Scutellum slightly convex, about as long as wide, with rather dense punctures and lateral carina in basal 0.2. Propodeum rugose-punctate, without apophysis. Area superomedia heart-shaped, about as long as wide; costula reaching its middle. Hind coxa unmodified, with rather dense or dense punctures ventrally. Hind femur densely punctate, 3.0–3.2× as long as wide. External surface of hind tibia with 0–2 denticular spines in apical half. Areolet pentagonal, distance between veins 2rs-m and 3rs-m 1.0–2.0× their width; vein 2m-cu reaching its middle. Vein 1cu-a postfurcal by 1.0–2.0× its width.
Metasoma. Postpetiole moderately widened and densely or rather densely punctate, without latero-median carina, median field slightly elevated. 2 nd tergite 1.4–1.6× as wide as long. Gastrocoelus weakly impressed, without ridges. Thyridium indistinct. 2 nd and 3 rd tergite densely and coarsely punctate, ± shining. Ovipositor sheath reaching beyond metasomal apex by half length of 7 th tergite.
Color . Black. Flagellomeres 5/7–11/13 ivory dorsally. Frontal orbit with ivory spot opposite to lateral ocellus. Mesosoma entirely black. Tergites black, sometimes 2 nd tergite with reddish-brown suffusion, 6 th and 7 th tergite with large dorsal ivory spots. Legs black; fore femur ochreous frontally; fore and mid tibiae ochreous (in specimens from Okinawa pref.) or ivory (in specimens from Kagoshima pref.) frontally; hind trochantellus reddish; hind tibia often ± reddish basally, its apical spurs ivory. Wings slightly infuscate; pterostigma brown.
Male. Body length 7.0– 9.5 mm.
Structure. Flagellum with 29–33 flagellomeres, bristle-shaped; 1 st flagellomere 2.5× as long as wide, distal flagellomeres slightly nodose. Tyloids on flagellomeres 6–13/15, indistinct, oval, maximally 0.4× as long as their flagellomeres. OED 1.2× and OOD 1.2× ocellar diameter. Frons and face coarsely rugose-punctate. Clypeus and gena densely punctate. MI 0.3. Genal carina reaching hypostomal carina very close to or at mandibular base. Scutellum moderately elevated, slightly wider than long, with rather dense punctures, lateral carina in basal 0.5. Area superomedia hexagonal, about as long as wide. Hind femur densely punctate, 3.0–3.3× as long as wide. External surface of hind tibia with several denticular spines. Postpetiole densely punctate. 2 nd tergite 1.2× as long as wide. Apical margin of hypopygium triangularly elongate medially. Structure otherwise as described for the ♀.
Color . Black. Flagellum ± reddish or ochreous ventrally. Palps, mandible except teeth, clypeus, face, frontal and outer orbits, scape ventrally, collar and upper margin of pronotum, spot of subtegular ridge, apical band of scutellum and dorsal spot of 7 th tergite ivory. Legs black; fore and mid coxae and trochanters ± ivory; fore and mid femora, tibiae and tarsi reddish-yellow; hind trochanter and trochantellus ± reddish; hind tibia ochreous basally, infuscate apically, its apical spurs ivory. Wings slightly infuscate, pterostigma black.
