Collection information.
USA: Georgia: Clarke Co.: six individuals from four sites. Caught in flight trap from 21 April – 14 July 2020.
Distribution.
Eastern United States.
Saproxylic habits.
Larvae are predators of woodboring larvae ( Champlain and Knull 1923); emerged from water oak ( Ulyshen and Hanula 2009 a); adults and larvae also occur under bark, including oak and elm ( Hoffmann 1942; Barron 1971).
