Leptandrothrips zelkovae (Okajima) comb. nov.
Apterygothrips zelkovae Okajima, 2006: 165–166 View in CoL .
This species was described from the temperate region of Japan, under the genus Apterygothrips View in CoL , and is known only from micropterae. It usually occurs under bark of Zelkova serrata View in CoL ( Ulmaceae View in CoL ) trunk in the temperate region, and may be a fungus-feeder.
Specimens examined. Japan (Honshu), many females and males including the type series (see Okajima 2006: 165) .
