Rizoma rastrero o ascendente, revestido de páleas opacas. Frondes 2-4 pinnadas, con nervadura libre. Soros ± submarginales, al fin confluentes, insertos en los extremos de los nervios, cubiertos parcialmente por el margen continuo y revoluto de las pínnulas (pseudoindusio). Esporas tetraédricas, translúcidas.
