This species was first reported as Typhlodromus ( Anthoseius) kazachstanicus Wainstein in Algeria by Athias- Henriot (1960b), but then identified as a new species by Wainstein & Arutunjan (1967). Nothing is known of its biology. This is the second report of this species in the world.
Specimens examined: 2003, Ras El Ma on Cydonia oblonga (Rosaceae) ( 1 female), Silene sedoides (Caryophyllaceae) ( 1 female), near Larache on Chamaerops humilis (Arecaceae) ( 1 female), Saïdia on Lygos raetrum (Fabaceae) ( 1 female).
Previous records: Algeria.
