Paracholeothrips calcicolae Crespi et al. View in CoL
Paracholeothrips calcicolae Crespi et al., 2004: 270 View in CoL
This species is known only from two samples taken in tied phyllodes of Acacia calcicola View in CoL in central Australia. Two males and one female, taken with many typical clavisetae View in CoL from Acacia papyrocarpa View in CoL near Whyalla, South Australia, share the character states by which calcicolae View in CoL is distinguished from clavisetae View in CoL . This sample thus suggests that, despite the difference in sculpture on sternite VIII of males, it is possible that calcicolae View in CoL may represent aberrant specimens of clavisetae View in CoL .
