Distribution: A—Ceará and Pernambuco. B—Amapá, Pará, Amazonas, Maranhão, Rio Grande do Norte, Mato Grosso, Bahia, Alagoas, Goiás, Minas Gerais, Distrito Federal, Espírito Santo, São Paulo, Rio de Janeiro , and Santa Catarina. C— Bahamas, Dominican Republic, Puerto Rico, Colombia, Venezuela, Grenada, Panama, Guyana, Suriname, Ecuador (Including Galápagos islands), and Bolivia.

Rolston (1983) designated 2 males and 2 females as Paratypes from Barbalha, Ceará, located within the limits of the Caatinga region. Posteriorly Schwertner and Grazia (2007) recorded this species to Fortaleza, Ceará, and Caruaru, Pernambuco, both municipalities located within the limits of the Caatinga region.
