Diagnostic characters
Head with setigerous punctures bearing primary setae only; eyes large, ocelli present; antennae 5-segmented; corium and membrane well developed; scutellar apex clearly narrowed, its tip acute (Fig.); evaporative areas on meso- and metapleuron large, clearly visible, peritreme elongated, apically rounded and almost totally polished.
