Lectotype (Lassen in Turland & Jarvis in Taxon 46: 478. 1997): [icon] " Orobus Pyraenaicus , latifolius, nervosus" in Plukenet, Phytographia: t. 210, f. 2. 1692; Almag. Bot.: 274. 1696. - Typotype: Herb. Sloane 97: 44 ( BM-SL) .

Current name: Lathyrus linifolius (Reichard) View in CoL View at ENA Bässler ( Fabaceae : Faboideae ).

Note: Britten (in J. Bot. 39: 100. 1901) noted the absence of a type collection in LINN but did not designate a type.
