Type species: Neotydeus ardisanneae Baker, 1950 , by original designation.
Diagnosis. With characteristics of the family. Eyes absent. Solenidia on legs and palptarsus erect. Setae ( u) of tarsi II–IV not bifurcate. With two pairs of genital acetabulae.
Species included. The genus Neotydeus includes one species: N. ardisanneae Baker, 1950 from USA.
