Leaves 10-30 mm, oblong-elliptical, with only 7-11 crenations; petiole equalling or shorter than lamina. 2« = 28. Exposed limestone rocks and screes. W. Pyrenees & N. Spain.

A dwarf, very distinct ecotype, but connected to subsp. hirsuta by intermediates.
