Biennial, or sometimes annual; stem 5-8 cm, erect, branched from near the base, glandular-pubescent. Leaves alternate, mostly in a basal rosette, oblong-spathulate, flat, glandular-pubescent or glabrous. Flowers 5-merous, on short pedicels, in a narrow panicle which occupies most of the stem. Petals lanceolate, acute, pink. Stamens 10. Follicles erect, pubescent. • Kriti; Karpathos. Cr.
